Dr. Margit Gieseler (CEO)

Margit Gieseler studied pharmacy at the University of Wuerzburg and became a licensed pharmacist in Germany in 2001. After gaining first professional experience in retail pharmacy, Margit Gieseler went back to the University and received her PhD at the Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Wuerzburg in 2006. In the same year, she joined the formulation group of the Pharmaceutical R&D Department of Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG in Biberach where she contributed as a Team Member Pharmaceutics to numerous development projects. During this time her key responsibilities included early and late stage developments, high-potency drugs (isolator systems) and external collaborations. Dr. Gieseler also became a CPI (Continous Process Improvement) project leader (“Six Sigma Green Belt”). Margit Gieseler joined GILYOS as a CEO in December 2010.
